OSPR has teamed up with industry leaders; POP Weight Loss of CT, Select PT, soundRUNNER of Old Saybrook, Mid-Coast Crossfit, Terri Cain Yoga of OSPR and Get Real with Marie, for a morning full of health and wellness through active participation and conversation.
Meet the staff and experts from each sponsor to get a better understanding of not only what you can do to live a healthy lifestyle, but how and where to find those results.
We will have pre and post exercise stretching by Select PT, active stations by Mid-Coast Crossfit, Get Real w/ Marie, soundRUNNER and Terri Cain Yoga, workshops on nutrition by POP Weight Loss and evaluations by Select PT.

Yoga Session with Terri Cain of OSPR.
Reduce Stress. Gain Energy. Cultivate Wellness. Join this "come as you are" class for all levels of fitness and enjoy the proven benefits of yoga in a fun, supportive community. Gentle stretches and openings will be balanced with invigorating poses. Modifications will encourage everyone to move to their personal edge.

SoundRUNNER will be hosting a group trail run and hike around in the town park preserve. SoundRUNNER is a collection of individuals bound by their love for all things that promote a positive and healthy lifestyle. We believe that the act of movement is a fundamental element of personal well-being.

Pop Weight Loss will be providing complementary nutritional assessments, as well as informational packets that include recipes, meal planning templates, and health tips. Nutritionists will be on hand to answer questions, and provide information to help individuals create new healthy habits.

Mid-Coast Crossfit
We will be bringing our box to you! We will have an interactive demonstration of what CrossFit really is and show you how it truly is a form of fitness for everyone! There will be coaches providing a CrossFit WOD that everyone from 5 to 95 can perform. We will show you how to make any workout your own by safely scaling to your level of fitness. We love bringing CrossFit to our clients every day and can't wait to show our community what it is all about!

Get Real w/ Marie
Battling Ropes - Cardio workout using weighted ropes. These supersized ropes are heavy, which adds resistance (i.e. a major challenge) to work your muscles like never before.

Body balance- perform balancing exercises while attempting to keep the Bosu strong and steady. You’ll work your entire body atop this unstablle service. Fun and challenging

Short circuit- Get ready for this mini circuit that will challenge your whole body.

Ball launch- Weighted balls are used to push, press and toss to challenge your upper body strength and stamina.
